Finnforest Spruce plywood is a strong and durable flooring panel and it is well suited for use as an assembly substrate for different surface materials, both in the case of new constructions and renovation work. The strong and rigid Finnforest Spruce plywood flooring panels have a good load-bearing capacity. The smooth and uniform surface of the panels is an ideal foundation for parquet floors, carpeting and floor tiles. Finnforest Spruce plywood panels can also be used on their own as ready floors in warehouses and other similar applications. Tongue-and-groove profiled (two sides TG2 or four sides TG4) Finnforest Spruce panels are excellent material for building floating floor structures. Especially the small deflections of the panels make the use of longer spans possible, which in turn helps save construction material. Wood as a natural material provides sound and thermal insulation as well as being pleasant to the touch.
Surfaced thin-veneer Finnforest Birch plywood panels, like Finnforest Deck and Finnforest Floor, are used in permanent structures, primarily floors, loading ramps and access driveways of instrial buildings, warehouses and similar appications, where lift trucks and pallet lifts often cause a high wheel load in combination with high surface pressure on the floor. Its good surface hardness and strength characteristics and durable surfacing materials make birch plywood ideally suited for these applications. Finnforest Birch is used also in parquet floors to provide additional strength to overall structure.
