Metsäliitto supports the ten principles of The Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and is committed to advancing these principles within its sphere of influence.
The Global Compact is a joint initiative launched by the United Nations together with business to advance responsible corporate citizenship. Its ten principles enjoy universal consensus being derived from:

• The Rio Declaration on Environment and Development
• The United Nations Convention against Corruption
