We pay special attention to product safety at all stages of our manufacturing processes, including the development of new products, production and marketing.
Samples are taken at regular intervals during the production processes, as required by product standards. Testing related to quality control, such as strength tests, is carried out by an independent external research institute.
We always make sure that our products conform to all the applicable regulations. Customers and final users of the products are provided with proper users’ instructions and other guidance.
Our products consist almost entirely of natural wood material, and contain only minimal levels of synthetic substances. The chemicals used in the production of plywood, Kerto laminated veneer lumber (Kerto LVL) and impregnated wood products are fully compliant with national chemicals regulations. Impregnated wood is manufactured in compliance with the EN 351-1 and EN 351-2 standards and in observance of the quality control and marking guidelines of the Nordic Wood Preservation Council (NTR) and the Finnish Standards Association (SFS). Our impregnated wood products are licensed to bear the NTR quality mark and the SFS inspection mark.
